WaterIQ Technologies™ Land Solar – Guarding our waters against algae, day and night
WaterIQ Technologies Land Solar reliably and continuously defends water against algae and plays an essential part in restoring our water to its natural state.
WaterIQ Technologies’ Land Solar is ready to defend water against algae while helping preserve everything else that is right. Sentinel represents the industry’s next-generation solar-powered ultrasonic floating algae remediation solution. While some might only see a buoy affixed with sophisticated technology and onboard solar power, we know it to be a loyal defender. It is a reliable, battle-tested, always on guard, fully equipped system, with an onboard laboratory, ready to eliminate algae threats and play its role in water restoration.
WaterIQ Technologies believes that chemicals are not the answer. Unlike chemicals, our ultrasound technology is not harsh or harmful to other forms of plants and aquatic life. Chemicals can require continuous applications and thus require manpower, storage, and handling to apply. Many of the world’s water treatment plants are challenged with retaining staff. WaterIQ Sentinel AIQ is designed to be a standalone system, with electricity provided by a high-power solar panel and requiring little manual intervention.
An intelligent solution for algae control in facilities, lakes and ponds
- WaterIQ units generate specific frequencies with low wattage amplifiers and piezo transducers (similar to speakers).
- Powered by 110/220 VAC, 24 VAC/VDC or solar power.
- These units emit 4,400 different frequencies on 2 separate bandwidths to create an environment of critical structural resonance specifically targeted at the vesicles (air bladder) located inside the cell walls of algae.
- This resonance causes the vesicles to rupture much like an opera singers voice shattering a wine glass.
- This process quickly immobilizes the algae causing it to sink to the bottom where it decomposes and is consumed by aquatic life and bacteria.
Sentinel AIQ™ Product Benefits
- Pulsar 4000 unit can cover large bodies of water effectively and economically
- Advanced telemetry and IoT technology to aid in remote monitoring of unit operation and optional data analysis of water health, is found on AIQ+ models
- Ability to export data into other applications, including plant supervisory systems or data or statistical analysis platforms
- Requires minimal manual intervention as compared to chemicals
- The use of advanced materials such as the Sharklet™ surface that is both durable and prevents fouling, thereby decreasing operating expenses for the customer.
- Easy to install and configure and inexpensive to operate
- Reduces or eliminate chemical usage
- Targets only algae
- High-powered 320V solar system panel to operate the system self-sufficiently regardless of weather
As an option, the Sentinel AIQ can be equipped with WaterIQ Technologies’ remote water monitoring system found in the Sentinel AIQ+.
- The added benefit of onboard sensors located in a submersible sonde that feed live data into the onboard telemetry and IoT system for real time data capture and transfer to the Cloud.
- Web-based data retrieved from the Cloud, on any mobile devices, that depicts either standard or customizable dashboards on sensor readings or act as a data feed for customer applications fed through an API.
- Sensors are available for blue-green algae, chlorophyll A, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, and turbidity.
