Protect your dock, boat, and waterfront from damaging ice with the Scott Aerator Dock-Mount De-Icer!

The Scott Aerator Dock-Mount De-Icer is an industry-leading solution for protecting docks, boats, pilings, marinas, boathouses, and waterfront structures from damaging winter ice. Designed with over 45 years of water management expertise, the Dock-Mount De-Icer creates continuous water circulation by drawing warmer water from below the surface and directing it upward to prevent ice formation around your valuable waterfront investments.

The Dock-Mount De-Icer is built for continuous operation thanks to its rugged, oil-free, stainless steel construction. Its maintenance-free, professional-grade motor is designed to perform throughout the harshest North American winters, providing dependable protection season after season.

Even during extreme below-zero conditions, the Dock-Mount De-Icer keeps a minimum 50-foot-diameter area free from ice with the ½-hp model, while the 1-hp model can protect areas up to 70 feet in diameter. By preventing ice expansion around dock pilings and waterfront structures, the de-icer helps eliminate costly damage caused by ice jacking and pressure.

DOCK PLATE (INCLUDED)

Perfect for long-term installation to a dock or similar structure. Aquasweep shown in photo.

DOCK POST BRACKET (UPGRADE)

Dock Post Bracket

An excellent mounting option for docks with round metal posts. Upgrading to the dock post bracket replaces the standard dock plate.

TRUSS MOUNT (UPGRADE)

Truss Mount

Works well on metal docks and comparable frames using a sturdy, non-destructive attachment method. Upgrading to the truss mount replaces the standard dock plate.

TRIPOD MOUNT (UPGRADE)

TRIPOD MOUNT

This heavy-duty stainless steel platform installs directly into the lake or pond bottom, allowing you to position your de-icer wherever protection is needed—even without a dock. Easily reposition the unit anywhere within reach of a power source for maximum flexibility.

QUICK RELEASE ADAPTER (UPGRADE)

Dock Mount Quick Release Adapter

Increase the effective coverage of your de-icer by allowing quick repositioning between multiple dock mounting plates (sold separately). The quick release adapter also makes seasonal removal fast and convenient.

The Dock-Mount De-Icer securely mounts to your dock using the included stainless steel mounting plate, or you can upgrade to a dock post bracket or truss mount bracket for specialized dock configurations. The heavy-duty stainless steel yoke assembly provides up to 7 feet of depth adjustment, allowing you to position the unit for optimal water circulation. You can select an upgraded mounting option during checkout or purchase additional mounting systems separately for greater installation flexibility.

The Dock-Mount De-Icer can also be paired with our fully programmable oscillator attachment, which automatically rotates the unit in 20-degree increments every 20 minutes. By continuously changing the direction of water flow, the Oscillator helps protect a much larger area without requiring a second de-icer. Simply set your desired rotation range, plug it in, and let it work automatically all winter long.

Need ice protection away from a dock? Our free-standing tripod mount allows you to install the de-icer virtually anywhere, making it ideal for protecting boat lifts, swim areas, marinas, and other hard-to-reach waterfront locations.

The Scott Aerator Dock-Mount De-Icer is powered by a professional-grade, fully submersible, maintenance-free motor that operates at an impressive 3,450 rpm — significantly faster than many competitive de-icers that operate below 2,000 rpm. This high-speed performance allows our de-icer to move approximately 300 gallons of water per minute using the ⅓-hp motor, creating stronger circulation for superior ice prevention.

Every Scott Aerator De-Icer is manufactured in-house using a heavy-duty, 25-foot-long, 12-gauge submersible power cable with a rugged, marine-grade, water-resistant plug. You also have the option to increase the power cable length up to 100 feet for an additional cost. The unit runs on standard 110-volt power, so no special wiring or electrician services are required. Models are available in both 115-volt and 230-volt configurations, as well as 3-phase and 50 Hz versions for international applications. If you’re not fully satisfied with the performance of the AquaSweep, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return it for a full refund, less shipping costs.
