A diffuser installed on the pond floor connects to a shore-mounted air compressor via weighted airline tubing. The diffuser releases a stream of microbubbles that travel upward, gently circulating the water and drawing oxygen-depleted water from the bottom to the surface, where it can be naturally reoxygenated.
